Blurred Opinions will be playing their fourth show at Ireland’s Pub on Friday, Oct. 26 at 8:00 pm. The band has four Lakeview juniors who are very passionate about music. The lead guitarist and vocalist is Nick Rezeppa, the bassist is Nathaniel Wittenberg, the drummer is Eric Bean, and the soundboard technician is Kirk Reinhart. They all have put a lot of time and effort into the band and appreciate everyone that comes out to support them.

This upcoming show will not be like their others because they are putting a Halloween twist on it. The restaurant is having a huge Halloween party this night and the band is fortunate enough to be playing. Everyone should dress up because there is going to be a costume contest.

They typically play classic rock music from the 70s and 80s but they may be throwing a couple seasonal songs into the line up. They have a lot of new material they have been working extremely hard on, and are very excited to play.

Wittenberg expressed, “We have some new one-time-only additions, and some new catchy tunes that we plan on keeping for a while.”

The band sells Blurred Opinion merchandise at all of the shows. They have t-shirts, car decals, buttons, zipper pulls, and bracelets. Everything is sold on a table in the back at a very reasonable price.

Mary Holton, ‘20, has been to almost every show the band has ever had. She stated, “It is crazy to think that they started out in a backyard playing for friends and family and now they have shows in public and tons of supportive fans.”

Overall this will be the band’s twelfth show and they plan on having many more. The four friends have put a lot of hard work into this upcoming show and the restaurant will be decorated and full of the Halloween spirit.

Reinhart mentioned, “The night is going to be one to remember. Everyone should come if they want to have a good time.”
