Our favorite guidos are back! The cast of Jersey Shore has returned to MTV. The new season Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premiered on April. 5, with a two hour special. Our beloved cast is back in Miami; let’s hope no one writes a note this time.

Even though Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jenni “JWoww” Farley,  Ronnie Ortiz- Magro, and “DJ Pauly D” Paul DelVecchio all have kids, they can still Jersey turnpike and fist bump like they did before. Having kids doesn’t stop them from partying and drinking like they did in the first few seasons.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino has changed a lot this past couple of years. He has been to rehab and doesn’t drink or smoke anymore. I don’t see him banging his head into a wall again anytime soon. Although, he has changed and has patched up his past situations (no pun intended) with the other guidos his relationship with Ronnie has not changed, and has been rough ever since Italy.

Aubrie Skill, ‘18 who secretly watched Jersey Shore behind her mom’s back when she was younger still loves the show.

“Personally, I loved it, and I still love everyone, especially the Meatballs.”

If you are a OG Jersey Shore fan, when you hear the word meatball, you do not think of the food, you think of Snooki and Deena Cortese. The two girls that are very funny and make the show. They both party hard and say funny things.

Not everyone is on this new season. Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola is not in this season. She stated that she didn’t want to see Ronnie, and wanted to avoid toxic situations that could happen to her. This season we will not be hearing them fight every episode or hearing Sammi yell “Rahn stop!” The past seasons they have been dating and getting into heated arguments, although I’ll miss her, I understand and respect her decision on not coming. The new Sammi on this season isn’t the same.

Angelina Pivarncik, who is nicknamed the Staten Island Dump by fellow cast mates makes a surprise appearance this season. She actually brought luggage, and not garbage bags like she did in the first season. Hopefully, she doesn’t stay on this season for long.

There’s no doubt that this season will still have a lot of drama just like the previous season.

Many people think of ‘most valuable player’ when they hear the phrase “MVP’, but for Jersey Shore lovers it means Mike, Vinny, Pauly. Ronnie wasn’t included since he was always fighting with Sammi.

But, for now it’s t-shirt time, and the cabs are coming – we’re going to Karma tonight.
