Stranger Things is a Netflix original show that was released on July 15, 2016. In the first season, we were introduced to a plethora of characters. Most of the beloved characters will are in season two, like Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Dustain, Will, and many more along with new characters. Season two was released on October 27, 2017.

Season one left the viewers with two cliffhangers. At the end of episode eight we see Will eating dinner with his family. He excuses himself from the table and goes into the bathroom. Will then starts to gag and throws up a worm that we assume was from the Demogorgon that kidnapped him. Then the scene around Will changes to the parallel dimension called the upside down. Then Will is back in his bathroom. The viewers are left to ponder if Will has powers or has P.T.S.D.

The other cliffhanger we are left with was also in the end of episode eight. We see Chief Hopper leaving the station early and driving into a snowy forest. He walks over to a tree and wipes the snow off of a black box. Hopper opens the box and places a box of Eggo waffles into it. We learn earlier in the season that Eleven loves Eggos, so we assume that Eleven is still alive and Chief Hopper is the only one that knows.

In season two we are introduced to two new characters that accompany the main characters of season one to help solve the mysteries of their town. There are the brother sister combo,  Max, played by Sadie Sink, and Billy, played by Dacre Montgomery.

The cast of Stranger Things welcomed these new actors with open arms.

“The energy of everything was very fun and happy and, for the most part, pretty stress-free. Maybe it’s the fact that there’s a bunch of kids on the show, but it was always a very fun environment,” Sink said.

For a show that you can only watch on Netflix it has a massive following of fans.

“Stranger Things is the type of show that you would start to watch at seven at night and then all of a sudden it is three in the morning. Season two was more addictive than the first.” said Summer Koch, ‘20.

“I love all the characters because I can sympathize with them. They are all very lovable. I instantly fell in love with Max. She is really tough and I love that about her character,” stated Kyra Berry, ‘20.
